Lost & Found
Interactive Website
Overview
Lost & Found is an interactive website that invites visitors to contribute to a shared visual archive centered on the theme of loss. Users can submit stories about something they have lost, categorized as a person, thought, or object, and discover others' entries using a flashlight-like cursor. To reflect the unpredictability of searching for something once lost, submissions continuously shuffle to new positions every few seconds, making each discovery feel unexpected. Users can also pause the movement for a more focused reading experience.
Built with Google Firebase, the website stores and displays user submissions in real time, transforming individual memories into a collective, evolving visualization shaped by the community.
